The author of Fairest is Gail Carson Levine. Fairest is 326 pages long. I chose this book because the cover looked interesting. Also I read the back and I thought that it was good.
The most important character is Aza. Her skin was weak blue-white of skimmed milk, her hair deep black, and her lips were red as a dragon’s tongue. Aza loves to sing. Also Aza is a kind hearted girl. Another important character is the Queen and her name is Ivi. Ivi wants everything to be her way. She is not the best singer. She is selfish. Ivi is rude too.
The main characters are trying to solve a problem. The problem is that Aza is illusing and they think that she is part ogre because the best singer was part ogre. Since Aza can illuse they think that she is dangers. Then they find out that she’s not and that Ivi is using magic to change her appearance. The main characters try to solve other things to.
I give Fairest four stars. I would recommend this book because it is very interesting, and neat. It also caught my action.
